Page 8 of 10 How Much Will a Storm Damage Claim Cost Me?QUESTION: What if I sign a contract with United States Roofing and they begin temporary repairs, but then my insurance company denies the claim? How much will it cost me? ANSWER: If for any reason (no matter how much work has already been completed) your insurance company denies the claim, the contract that you signed with United States Roofing will immediately become null and void and you will not be charged for any work already completed. QUESTIONS: Once I receive my insurance money, how much do I have to pay up front before I see any materials? ANSWER: You do not pay United States Roofing anything up front. You do not pay anything until your project is approved and completed. QUESTIONS: What about my deductable? I’ve heard that some companies are paying deductibles, or offering free upgrades, as a way for me to not have to pay my deductable. Does United States Roofing pay my deductable? ANSWERS: It is against the law for any company to pay a deductable, or any gimmick that comes along with paying a deductable. Companies that are doing this, and customers that are allowing it to be done, are committing insurance fraud. The rules state that a person must pay their deductable as part of any insurance claim. Otherwise, the actual contract amount is less than what the company is charging the customer. That is defrauding an insurance company, and is a crime. United States Roofing understands that in this economy some people do not have the ability to pay a deductable right now; so we offer an option. If requested, we will finance your deductable over a period up to 12 months, at a zero-percent interest rate, without a credit check. This allows you to pay it over time.
